I actually can’t remember when I fell down the rabbit hole of Korean skincare, but once I did, I was, and continue to be, years later, cousins to obsessed. Not TOTALLY obsessed. Just very close to it.
Moisturizer is the…ninth step in the 10-step Korean skincare routine. It’s, like. My third or fourth step, tbh. But in my mind, it’s the ninth, and I’m doing a great job.
Yes, it’s another snail bee product. like other snail products, Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream is gentle, moisturizing, and works like a charm. Like other snail products, sometimes the stomach does not want to think about snails. But. It really works. It has no scent. It’s VERY moisturizing, but doesn’t feel (or look) oily. People whose skin isn’t so dry might find this product to be too much in the summer, but people like me who have skin that can dry and fall off at any time can use it year-round.
The Face Shop Mango Seed Silk Moisturizing Facial Butter smells really good. And I am VERY particular about scent. I can’t stand lotion (or anything, really) that smells perfumey. And if a product does, it can easily make me horribly nauseated. So, take that into account when I say the Mango Seed Silk Moisturizing Facial Butter is acceptable in the smell department. It has a little bit of a shine and a silky-soft texture, which some reviewers do not love under makeup. But since I don’t wear makeup 99% of the time, this isn’t an issue for me.
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream follows in the footsteps of Etude House Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack and feels very expensive while not being expensive at all. And so moistfull! As an aside, Etude House Moistfull Collagen Eye Cream in the same line is also great. Does eye cream do anything? I don’t know. But it feels fantastic. All three definitely have a scent. A kinda strong scent. But the smell does not linger. And it’s not horribly intense.
