For the majority of my life I have not used any special scrubbing items when showering—no washcloth or whatever those things are called—are they really called poufs? It seems that they are. Well, none of those either. They just seem dirty in a way that can never be clean. And I’m sticking to it.
But using my God-given washcloth (hands) is a thing of the past now that I have this Turkish bath mitt, omg. Everyone should buy this immediately, if not sooner.
According to the Internet, the Carbon Beauty Deep Exfoliating Hammam Glove / Bath Glove helps even skin tone, removes dead skin cells, and stimulates collagen production, creating baby-soft skin. Which it definitely does. Honestly, it’s a little like scrubbing yourself with sandpaper. And it feels incredible as you itch all the parts of yourself that rarely get to be satisfyingly itched—upper back, lower back, etc.
You also get to see all your dead skin sloughing off like a snake as you scrub, which I find very satisfying. Reviewers compare the glove to going to the Korean spa, which I’ll admit I’ve never done due to not finding being around other people at all relaxing and the fear of being bored.
Also, I just throw them in the washing machine with the towels every week, and they hold up just fine.
