I have black eyebrows and black eyelashes that, even before I experimented with GrandeLASH, were thick and fairly long. I’m also just not very good at wearing makeup. I touch my face and rub my eyes. I forget to wash my face on non-shower days. I sleep on my stomach and smoosh my face into the pillow.
But sometimes I want to experiment with makeup and feel fancy. And one of those makeup things is mascara. Which I will buy and let dry after using three times.
However, after reading an article I now can’t find about Japanese mascara that will never come off and is TRUE black, I decided I should buy it even knowing I would waste it. If it never comes off I can sleep in it and not ruin pillowcases the three times I wear it before I let it dry out, I reasoned, like the very reasonable person I am. But you should always wash off your makeup, you cry. I’m not going to do it, so don’t bother attempting to convince me. I wash my face when I take a shower. Which is for sure not every day.
Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara is SUPER waterproof. I don’t notice that it’s blacker than mascaras you can get here in the US (another claim in the article I can’t find), but then again, I am not a mascara expert.
It takes a very long time to arrive. So long I forgot I ordered it. And then it arrived. The lengthy shipping time they say is the lengthy shipping time it will be.
I use an eyelash curler, so I don’t know if it curls lashes, but I will guess that in my case it will not, since no mascara ever has.
It does NOT come off. I might still be wearing it, a year later, who knows. Because actually taking it off is a real process. A process I never bothered to go through, but, according to the Internet, involves resting cotton balls of makeup remover on your eyes for an amount of time I am uninterested in investing in the removal of anything.
Its refusal to come off is ideal for an eye-rubber and too-lazy-to-face-wash face sleeper.
And I assume would be fantastic for someone that likes to cry a lot.
